Looking for information on Sarah E. Rokenbrodt Stuaffer, wife of Benjamin Stauffer. Lived in Center township in 1870. Believe Sarah died sometime between 1875 and 1880. Especially interested in anything that might mention her parents - maybe an obit?

Also looking for any info on the Zuker family members who also lived in Center township. They were relatives of Sarah Rokenbrodt Stauffer. Other than entries in the 1870 and 1880 federal census, I don't have anything else.

Here is a Zuker obit from an early Minneapolis, KS paper (the Sentinel); and there is a Mabel Bowman Zuker buried in Hall Cemetery.

Sentinel, May 23, 1879
DIED, at her late residence, southwest of this city, on
Saturday May 10, 1879, Mrs. Fransisco, wife of Jacob
Zuker, aged 71 years, 3 months and 9 days. The funeral
services took place on Sunday afternoon, Rev. W.C.
Seidel officiating. The large concourse of people
attending these services gave testimony of the high
esteem in which she was held in the community. Mr.
Zucker has the sympathy of his large circle of friends
who join him in mourning the loss of his esteemed
companion. They had lived together in the holy state of
matrimony for over 51 years.

Thanks for the Zuker obit. I am both a Rokenbrodt and a Zuker descendant, so all and any Zuker info is appreciated. The Stauffer link is of interest because of the marriage of Sarah E. Rokenbrodt to Benjamin Stuaffer.
