My name is Tim Riley and I reside in Strathroy, Ontario, Canada. My father is Charles George and his father who was born in 1909 in London, Ontario is Alfred Charles Hastings Riley. He married Jessie Isobel Telfer in 1936. His Father, my great Grandfather was Alfred J.E. Riley(I believe the J was for John?) whose wife was Rose Spicer. Alfred J.E. Riley was born in England, unfortunately that is all I know. I found a possible link to the ship Lake Ontario I believe in 1888 but Alfred was a pretty common name then. He had a sister named Flossie, I actually have a picture of her and her husband, but I dont have his last name. My grandfather served in World War II and I have pics of him with 2 of his aunts who never married, along with a group wedding picture from England from the 1920s-1940s but again NO NAMES. Alfred J.E. served in both World Wars, lived in London, owned a Rileys Service Station(Red Indian Brand!), owned a farm later. I am trying to give some information out hoping someone might link it to their family line. Can anyone help?
