Hi Joann: I am not sure where you live, But if you can get to a library that has a micro film reader & printer & are connected to the library exchange, you can possibly ask them for Micro Film Reels on loan from the Kansas Historical Society. The Kansas Historical Society has copied all the county papers from early days to I believe 1988. Of course you need the death dates to get the right reels. They can keep them for 2 weeks but you can't take them out of the library. In the state no charge, but not sure there might be a small out of state charge for use. You should be able to get the original obituary in this way. Good luck Gayle M. Garrett
