O. S. DEMING, an attorney-at-law of Mt. Olivet, Robertson County, Ky., is a native of Osego County, N. Y., was born December 22, 1838, and is a son of Captain David and Almira (Sage) Deming, natives of New York and Massachusetts respectively, and of English and Irish origin. O. S. In 1876 he was an elector on the Hayes Presidential ticket, and in 1879 was the Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor of the State of Kentucky. He married Miss Leona C. Rigg, of Bourbon County, and is the father of four children, viz: William C., David S., Thomas H. and Ada P.
