PARK CITY - Kenneth W. Haines, Sr., 95, of Park City, KY, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013 in Louisville, KY. The VanWert County, OH native was born on February 2, 1918 to the late Walter Cleveland Haines and the late Mary Margaret Roberts. He was the husband of the late Mildred Ziegler Haines.

He was a graduate of Ohio State University where he was inducted into the Animal Science Hall of Fame, a farmer and member of Park City United Methodist Church and Kentucky Angus Association.

He is survived by two daughters, Jeannine Livesay and husband John and Carol Schumann and husband Gregg both of Louisville, KY; four sons, Kenneth Haines, Jr. and his wife Sharon, Park City, KY, Bruce Haines, Covington, LA, Douglas Haines and wife Donna, Douglas, GA, Dudley Haines, Louisville, KY; two sisters, Dorothy Medley, Troy, OH, Doris Burt of Pennsacola, FL; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald Haines; one sister, Francis Dunlap and daughter in law, Ella Haines.

Services will be officiated by Rev. Mark Benton with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to Park City United Methodist Church.
