Henry White was my g-g-g-g-Grandfather. He came to Barren County from Henrico County, Va. He married Elizabeth Glen in Henrico County and most if not all of his children were born there. Joseph was born on December 14, 1778 (d.Mar.7,1864) I believe Susanna was the oldest,(b.ca 1776) as she was married to James Jones on Nov. 11, 1795 and after his death married Daniel Hendrick.( June 23, 1817) I don't know the answer to your other questions, but I am still researching. My g-g-g-grandmother was Rebecca White Browning, mother of Susanna Browning. Susanna married "Irish" John White, ( as he was referred to in various documents including land deeds) my g-g-Grandfather. Since they used the "Irish" to differentiate between the White families, I would assume that Henry's family would either be of English or Scottish ancestry. It gets even more difficult to follow after Susanna dies Ca. 1852 possibly during the birth of my g-Grandfather Thomas R. White. John and Susanna had seven sons and after Susannas death, John married Margaret Katherine White, another granddaughter of Henrys'. Margaret was the dgt. of Joseph White and Elizabeth Tilford. John and Margaret were married on August 21, 1856.
A son Elisha T. White was b. Oct.10, 1858 and d. Feb. 22, 1859. Susan Jane was born on May 11, 1860 (d. March 22, 1942) She married Lafayette Chambers.
If you have any other info or if you find out anymore I would appreciate you letting me know.
Also ther is a handwritten book in the Glasgow Public Library, written by a cousin, Clorine Jones Lawson entitled, " My Father's Family", the Jones-Miller History. It might help.
