I am descended from Matthew Harbison(1791-1872) son of Moses Harbison and Ann Barlow m.1789 Culpeper Co. VA. My GGrandfather was Patrick Rush, a native of Gaulway, Ireland who came to KY as a boy and lived most of his life in Hart Co, serving as Sheriff and Jailer and also serving on the legislature. I learned this information about him after visiting the Munfordville, Hart Co. KY Historical Society and reading Cyrus Edward's Memorial to Patrick Rush wo died in Munfordville 1915). Pat Rush fought for the union in the Civil War and married a war widow, Mary Frances Harbison (1842-1906), daughter of Adam B. Harbison (1820 -1857) and Martha D. Veluzat (1824-1905); Adam Barlow Harbison is the son of Matthew (above) and wife Elizabeth Bybee (1795-1879). Glad to share or trade information on relations!
