Surnames: Johnson, Howerton
maybe two heads are better than one. James Thomas Johnson, b December 23 1849 in Boone County Ky, died Oct 15,1917 Stafford, Ks, he married Alice E Howerton, December 1870 Clark County Illinois.
According to the obit, there were 5 children- two I know of were Charles Edward Johnson (1872-1935) and William T (1880-1938)Both the last two children as well as the parents are all buried in Stafford Cemetery, Assume two children died young. I cant find this other child, Lillie or whom the parents of James Thomas Johnson might be. I just found out that initials of his parents names were C.E. Johnson and M. (Not enough to go on) And This brother Tip Johnson, was living in Stafford in 1917 but I don't find him either, and have assumed that Tip is probably a nickname. This query has been re-written since the first time I posted. It should have never been posted without checking it first. I was way too tired and had been at the computer too long, so apologies to those who responded and couldn't figure out heads or tails about what I was saying
