I can't give you the name of John's parents, but Frankey Pope was a sister to my grandfather, Joseph Lewis Fannin. They were the children of John D. Fannin & Mary Jane Seasor of Boyd Co., Ky.
I would like to know if they had any children since Francis (Frankey) died young. I know of one named Sarah Francis Pope
who is buried next to Frankey in the Fannin Cemetery in Boyd Co., Ky. Sarah Francis died as an infant, but were there others?
