Nelson Cazad was my greatgrandfather. I show a marriage to Mary Jane Chase in Boyd County, KY, 18 Aug 1860. Nelson subsequently married my greatgrandmother Margaret F. McWhorter in Mason County, WV in 1870.

I have been unable to find any information concerning Mary Jane Chase after the marriage to Nelson Cazad. Nelson was also married before (abt 1850/1852) to Cecelia Oakes and had a daughter (at least one) Alice Ann, b. Guyandotte, Cabell County, WV who married a Brewer.

I am interested in any information that may be available for the Chase woman plus and information on other children that Cazad may have had with either Oakes or Chase
