James Alexander, 57, of Dawson Springs, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., following a long illness.
Born May 14, 1955, in Caldwell County, a son of the late James M. Sr. and Georgia Huddleston Alexander, he attended First Baptist Church of Dawson Springs and was an electronic technician for the State of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Menser.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Nathan Lindsey of Rosine; a grandson, Zeke Alexander Lindsey; a brother, Charles Menser of Dawson Springs; five sisters, Alice Briggs, Judy Fiddler and Wanda Kirkman, all of Dawson Springs, Ruby Ware of Madisonville and Linda Hill of Odon, Ind.; several nieces and nephews; and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 2:30 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be David Copeland, Dan Purdy, Mike Shepard, Herschel Whoosley, Heath Burden and Randy Cansler.
