B. Jeanette Garner, 77, of Fruitland, Fla., died Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at 1:23 p.m. at Corner Stone Hospice at The Village, Fla., following a long illness.
Born June 1, 1935, in Trigg County, a daughter of the late Roy and Ruby Oakley Futrell, she was a member of First Baptist Church of Leesburg, Fla., and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Trigg.
Survivors include her husband, Stanley W. Garner; a son and daughter-in-law, Barry and Debbie Garner of Portage, Ind.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Connie Lynn and Don Benton of Livermore and Debbie May and Johnnie Worthington of Valparaiso, Ind.; six grandchildren, Brian and Todd Benton, Kelly Worthington, Jonni Janell Cheek, Adam and Megan Garner; two brothers, John Lee Futrell of Demott, Ind., and Kenneth Futrell of Fairview; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Donald Benton officiating.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. (Princeton, Ky.)
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
