David Williams, 72, of Princeton, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at 10:55 a.m. at his home, following a short illness.
Born Oct. 11, 1940, in Amity, Mo., a son of the late John Floyd and Daisy Marie Rose Williams, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran, retired manager of Bremner Food Group, member of First Christian Church, Scottish Rite and 32nd Degree Free Mason.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Lou Dever Williams.
Survivors include two stepsons, Brian Alexander of Toledo, Ohio, and Chris Alexander of Noblesville, Ind.; seven stepgrandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Diane and Curtis Peterman of Kansas City, Mo., and Margaret R. Williams of St. Joseph, Mo.; a niece, Cristni Thornton of St. Joseph, Mo.; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Oct. 25, at 1 p.m. at First Christian Church with the Rev. Cliff Jones officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Thursday at First Christian Church.
