Jackie Mae Ladd, 58, of Nortonville, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, of natural causes.

Born Dec. 29, 1953, in Princeton, a daughter of the late Rufus Boinette Ladd and Lawson Orten and Vera Mae Croft Orten, she was a member of Castleberry Baptist Church in Christian County.

Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Mike and Cindy Creekmur of Nebo and Johnnie Lynn and Karen Orten of Crofton; a sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Dwight Brown of Nortonville; four nephews, Joshua Creekmur, Jared Creekmur, Billy Brown and Danny Orton; a niece, Margaret Ann Brown; seven great-nieces and great-nephews; and her dog, Trickie.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Nov. 1, at 1 p.m. at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home in Crofton with the Rev. Dwight Brown officiating.

Burial will follow in Hawkins Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
