Jane Mitchell, 82, of Princeton, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. at Princeton Health and Rehab Center, following a short illness.
Born May 30, 1930, in Trigg County, a daughter of the late Ben and Nell Harriett Robertson Adams, she was a retired spring assembler at Mid Continent and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Seldon Standard Mitchell; second husband, Clarence Trafford; and a brother, Howard Adams.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Blakely and Barbara Mitchell and Marvin and Bettie Mitchell, all of Caldwell County, and Jerry Glenn and Kelly Mitchell of Cadiz; a daughter and son-in-law, Sheila Mitchell and Roger Hulsey of Madisonville; seven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; six brothers, Waldon Adams, Walter “Mort” Adams, Jessie Adams and Elbert Adams, all of Cadiz; D.C. Adams of Hopkinsville and David Adams of Madisonville; and three sisters, Iva West and Betty Lou Herndon, both of Cadiz and Martha Lumpkin of Little Rock, Ark.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Mike Boyd and the Rev. Gary Mitchell officiating.
Burial will follow in Blue Spring Church Cemetery. (Caldwell Co., Ky.)
Pallbearers are Ronnie Mitchell, Taylor Mitchell, Landon Mitchell, Brian Mitchell, Michael Woods and Hunter Adams.
Honorary bearers are Thomas Broadbent and Mitchell Phelps.
