Roy E. Jackson, 93, of Princeton, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2012, at 9:05 p.m. at his home.
Born Sept. 8, 1919, in Caldwell County, he was a son of the late Edward and Atha Davis Jackson, a member of Southside Baptist Church and a 64-year member of Clinton Lodge #82 F&AM. He was a retired foreman from K&E Paper Co., in Rockaway, N.J.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ellen Hillyard Jackson; a sister, Lena J. Thomason; and two nephews, James Stone and Larry Stone.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Laura Jackson of Sayreville, N.J.; two grandchildren, Vanessa Jackson of Philadelphia, Pa., and Christopher Jackson of Belleville, N.J.; a sister, Jesse Ramey of Princeton; and a great-nephew, James Stone of Princeton.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Dec. 10, at 1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. John Benton officiating.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. (Princeton, Ky.)
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to the funeral hour Monday, Dec. 10, at the funeral home.
