John Robert Hawkins, 48, of Princeton, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at 11:45 p.m. at Caldwell Medical Center, following a long illness.
Born July 1, 1964, in Caldwell County, a son of the late Bobby and Betty Nell Jones Hawkins, he was a retired truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Hawkins.
Survivors include his wife, Brandi Still Hawkins; a daughter and son-in-law, Cassie and Jonathan Tinsley of Princeton; two grandchildren, Trey and Tristan Tinsley; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Cecil and Suzie Hawkins and Randy Hawkins, all of Caldwell County; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Wesley Robinson and Darlene and Tony Chambers, all of Caldwell County, and Becky and Steve Chambers of Princeton; two aunts, JoAnn Thompson of Lyon County and Connie Robertson of Paducah; and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Graveside services were conducted Sunday, Dec. 15, at 3 p.m. at Jane Nichols Cemetery (Caldwell Co., Ky.), with the Rev. Willard Walls officiating.
