Royce Mims, age 41 of Princeton, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Jewish Hospital Medical Center in Louisville, KY.

He was a factory worker at Hydrogear and a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Born Jan. 19, 1971 in Caldwell Co., Ky., a son of the late Roy Lee Mimms and Arcie Bell Maxie Mimms.

He is survived by his mother, Arcie Bell Maxie Mimms, Princeton, KY, one son and daughter-in-law, De'Vante and Lauren Mimms, Jacksonville, NC, two daughters, Amaryia Bass, Crofton, KY and Tiearis Autry, Paducah, KY, three grandchildren, De'Mashe A. Glover, De'Kiza Glover and Kimmera Glover, four brothers, Ronald Thornton and wife, Penny, Owensboro, KY, Phillip White and wife, Carolyn, Princeton, KY, Michael Miles, Hopkinsville, KY and Bruce Jackson, Atlanta, GA, fifteen sisters, Mary Mimms Gilkey, Doshea Glover, Carolyn Dixon, Gloria Kimbrough and husband, George, Norma Elmore, Penny Jackson, Fredia Jackson, Greta Gray, Tracy Jackson, Melissa Jackson, Brittany Bumphus all of Princeton, KY, Bonnie Mimms and Betty Sue Murray, Hopkinsville, KY, Twanda Maxwell, Paducah, KY and Anita Baker, Cerulean, KY.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Lee Mimms and brother-in-law, Greg Gilkey.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday at Morgan's Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 PM at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Gerald Cannon assisted by Rev. James Brasher officiating.

Burial to follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. (Princeton, Ky.)
