Harry Duncan, 69, of Princeton, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at 9:44 p.m., at Caldwell Medical Center, following a long illness.
Born Oct. 31, 1943, in Grayson County, a son of the late Otha and Sara Westerfield Duncan, he was a retired machine operator for P&L Railroad and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Jimmy Hayes, Charles Hayes, Norman Hayes, O.C. Duncan; three sisters, Mable Cayce, Janie Alfred and Pearl Ochsner; a step-granddaughter, Ashley Tyrie; and a stepgreat-grandson.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Patterson Duncan; a stepson, Donald Wayne Tyrie of Eddyville; a stepdaughter, Mindy Denny of Mansfield, Texas; four step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; a brother, James Duncan of Madisonville; a sister, Corine Alfred of Elkton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted Friday, Dec. 28, at 2:30 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Darrick Holloman officiating, assisted by the Rev. Lester Watson.
Burial followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery. (Princeton, Ky.)
