David Pendley, 30, of Madisonville, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at his home.

A commercial cook and member of Grapevine Holiness Church, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Calvin Pendley; and maternal grandfather, George Powell.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa Pendley; mother, Patricia Pendley-Carty of Madisonville; father, Jimmy Pendley of Madisonville; three sons, Calvin Pendley, Michael Pendley II and George Pendley, all of the home; two brothers, Matthew Lewis Pendley of Madisonville and Austin Dakota Pendley of Marietta, Ga.; paternal grandmother, Joana Billings of Paducah; maternal grand mother, Martha Powell of Princeton; a stepbrother, Jeremy Allison of Madisonville; a stepsister, Brianna Allison of Madisonville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services for Mr. Pendley will be conducted Wednesday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m. Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz with the Rev. Rodney James officiating.

Burial will follow at Caldwell Blue Spring Baptist Church Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
