Fannie Stewart Smith, 90, formerly of Princeton, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, of complications from a hip fracture.
Born March 2, 1921, a daughter of the late Henry H. and Ida Hopson Stewart, she was retired from Princeton Hosiery Mill and worked at Treasures Remembered until her health failed.
She moved to Tucson, Ariz., in November of 2011 to be with family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Smith; a son, Phillip Stewart Smith; a granddaughter, Emily Catherine Gill; and two brothers, James Stewart and Austin Stewart.
Survivors include a daughter, Emily Sleigh; and a granddaughter, Alexandra Parrish of Tucson, Ariz.
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 12, at
1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Gary Graves officiating.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. (Princeton, Ky.)
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service hour Saturday at the funeral home.
