Virginia Lefan Duncan, 91, of Princeton, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at 8:15 a.m., at Christian Care Center of Kuttawa, in Kuttawa, following a short illness.
Born Nov. 4, 1921, in Lyon County, she was a daughter of the late Herman “Seck” and Nellie Parrent Lefan. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenwood Duncan; three sisters, Geneva Morris, Louise Dorroh and Mary Rose Chandler; and a brother, Hale Lefan.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Dickie McCalister of Princeton; two grandchildren, Amy and husband Bobby East and Mark and wife Robin McCalister, all of Princeton; four great-grandchildren, Blaire East, Macy East, Gabe East and Caden McCalister; and a sister, Dorothy McCracken of Kuttawa.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Jan. 27, at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Steve McVay officiating.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. (Princeton, Ky.)
Visitation will be from 7 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Sunday at
Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton and from 1 p.m. until the funeral hour at the church.
