Walt “Bubba” Valentine, 29, of Hopkinsville, died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013, at 8:54 p.m. at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn, following a short illness.
Born Feb. 6, 1984 in Clearwater, Fla., a son of Donna Prowell Puckett of Princeton and the late William L. Valentine Sr., he was a landscaper.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas S. Prowell; three brothers, William L. Valentine Jr., Michael Valentine and Ricky Puckett; a sister, Kelly Ann Puckett; and two uncles, James Prowell and Larry Prowell.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his maternal grandmother, Loretta Prowell; three uncles, Thomas “Dubby” Prowell, Jerry Powell and Dale Prowell; three aunts, Linda Richardson, Sharon Mosley and Carol Sue McGowan; four sisters, Stacy Morris of Princeton, Dawn Smith of Nashville, Tenn., Donna Valentine of Henderson and Merryle Valentine of Clearwater, Fla.; eight brothers, Johnny Valentine of Hopkinsville, Tony Valentine of Clearwater, Fla., Danny Valentine of Denver, Colo., Daniel Valentine of Tacoma, Wash., Tim Puckett and Lonnie Allan Puckett, both of Central City, Brian Puckett of Owensboro and Jeremy Puckett of Princeton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Aug. 22, at 1 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
Burial will follow in Meeks Cemetery. (Caldwell Co., Ky.)
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
