Randy Wade, 60, of Cadiz, died Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, at his home.
A son of the late Robert Earl and Goldie Marie Stone Wade, he was the Trigg County Facilities and Emergency Management Director, former owner/operator of Randy’s Repair Service, a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where he was song leader and was a deacon at Delmont Baptist Church for 18 years as well as teaching Sunday school at both Delmont Baptist Church and Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was a member of the East Golden Pond Volunteer Fire Department, LEPC, Trigg County Rescue, Haz Mat 2, a Kentucky Colonel, a Red Cross volunteer, and the Pennyrile Emmaus/Chrysalis Community.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Earl Wade.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Wade; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Sarah Wade of Cadi; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Jay Dimmick of Cadiz; four grandchildren, Jamee Noel, Trenton Noel, Gauge Wade and Avery Wade; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Daniel Oliver of Newburgh, Ind.; three sisters-in-law, Connie Anderson and Linda Cook, both of Cadiz, and Glenda Wade of Dallas, Texas; four brothers-in-law Dilman Anderson and Tad Anderson, both of Cadiz, Larry Anderson of Cerulean and Roger Anderson of Princeton;and extended family, Thomas Harper of Bowling Green and Anita Harper of Hopkinsville.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, Aug. 26, at 2 p.m., at the Trigg County Recreation Complex Convention Center.
Burial followed in Caldwell Blue Spring Cemetery in Caldwell County.
Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz was in charge of arrangements for Mr. Wade.
