Minnie Ileen Drennan, 88, of Fredonia, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at 5:05 a.m. at Caldwell Medical Center, following a short illness.
Born April 5, 1925, in Lyon County, a daughter of the late Rev. Luther B. and Lola Wynn Hooks, she was a homemaker and member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Drennan; a daughter, Joyce Thompson; two brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include three sons, Leon Drennan and Jerry Drennan, both of Brentwood, Tenn., and Ronny Drennan of Fredonia; two daughters, Dee Watson of Farmersville and Melinda Drennan of Brentwood, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Don Hooks of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. at Walnut Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Thompson officiating, assisted by the Rev. Rich Gardner.
Burial will follow in Rowland Cemetery. (Caldwell Co., Ky.)
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton and from 10 a.m. until the funeral hour Friday at the church.
