Bennie Conger, 74, of Princeton, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at his home, following a long illness.
A son of the late Charlie Ben and Emogene Futrell Conger, he was a construction worker; member of Bethany Methodist Church and member of Fur Takers of America.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Goodaker Conger; a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Dottie Conger of Princeton; a daughter, Christy Conger of Princeton; two grandchildren, Brian Conger and wife Beth and Eric Conger and wife Jessica; six great-grandchildren, Addeline, Alesa, Annabelle, Braxton, Drayden and Charlie; a brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Lisa Conger of Eddyville; a sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Tom McManamay of Kuttawa, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating.
Burial will follow in Princeton Memorial Gardens. (Princeton, Ky.)
Pallbearers will be Brian Conger, Eric Conger, Sonny Futrell, Jay Riley, Gerald Goodaker and Jimmy Martin.
Honorary bearers will be Jimmy Pool, Joe VanHooser, Kenneth Wynn and Ronnie Lewis.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
