Laura Orange, 79, of Princeton, died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at 9 p.m. at Caldwell Medical Center in Princeton, following a short illness.
Born April 6, 1935, in Caldwell County, a daughter of the late Charles and Martha Poole VanHooser, she was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, and a sales associate at Walmart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wallace Orange; a son, Robert Orange; three brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Missey Orange of Caldwell County; two daughters, Ella Dick of Caldwell County and Robbie Redmon of Princeton; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Iola Tincher of Marion, Ill.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 16, at 3 p.m. at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton, with the Rev. Robin Redd officiating.
Burial will follow in Witherspoon Cemetery. (Caldwell Co., Ky.)
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at the funeral home.
