Rudy Anderson, 65, of Princeton, and formerly of Evansville, Ind., died Monday, April 14, 2014, at 4:25 a.m., at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, following a short illness.
Born Sept. 11, 1948, a son of the late Marie Hooper Jenkins, he worked at Alcoa in Evansville, Ind., attended Christ Tabernacle Church, and was a volunteer at Good Samaritan House of Hope Ministry.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Cindy R. Frederick; five sons, Anthony Anderson of Colorado Springs, Colo., Marcus Anderson of Austin, Texas, Tré L. Anderson, Taylor Desha Anderson, both of Princeton, and Adam Anderson of Evansville, Ind.; several grandchildren; closest friends, Joshua Seymore and Curtis Wynn; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 17, at 1 p.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Troy Gent officiating.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.
