Harry "Buddy" Riley, 71, of Hill View Court, Princeton, died Monday, February 17, 1997, at 4:30 a.m. at his home of a sudden apparent heart attack.
A retired truck driver veteran and member of Green Hill Baptist Church, American Legion and the VFW, he was born August 8, 1925, in Wood County, Ohio, a son of the late J. T. "Bud" and Martha Ann Danks Riley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Duvall Riley and a brother, Orville Riley.
Survivors include a son, Melvin Riley of Sebree; a daughter, Barbara Stewart of Sebree; two stepdaughters, Betty Ritter of Shelbyville and Shelby Yocum of Harrodsburg; six grandchildren; a brother, Edgar Riley of Toledo, Ohio; two sisters, Pearl Cook of Princeton and Gladys McKnight of Dallas, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 19th, at 10:00 a.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Harold Salyers officiating.
Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery, Caldwell County, Ky.
