Looking for any information on James S. Hall who married Matilda Fraley and Isaac Hall who married Lucy ??? (Lucy's
maiden name may be Porter or Cole). Information was just given to me that suggests James and Isaac were brothers. There
may also be another brother named William Hall that married Cynthia Norton. All three were born in VA and stated in the
Carter County, KY census of 1850 that their parents were born in VA. I would like to connect these Halls to a family in VA
and find out who their parents were. Any help would be appreciated! You may also want to check my web page for more

James S. Hall was born in VA May 21 1826. James died AFT 1904 BEF 1910 Carter or Boyd County, KY.

He married Matilda Fraley in Carter County, KY, 3/6/1844. Matilda was born in Russell County, VA ABT June 1826.
Matilda was the daughter of James Fraley and Julia Ann Waggoner. Matilda died 12/14/1912 in Carter County, KY Coalton
area.

iv. Julia Ann Hall was born in Carter County, KY 2/25/1848. Julia died 1/14/1922 in Carter County, KY, She married William
Riley Stephens. William was born 4/18/1845. William died 7/19/1921
v. James W. Hall was born 1849.
vi. Mary Ellen Hall was born in Carter County, KY 5/18/1853.
vii. Jackson Hall was born 4/15/1854.
viii. Fielding Hall was born in Carter County, KY 9/2/1855.
ix. Elizabeth Hall was born in Carter County, KY ABT 1856.
x. Robert L. Hall was born in Cane Creek, Carter County, KY 3/2/1859. He married Flora Stevens in Carter County,
KY, 12/30/1889. Flora was born in KY ABT 1855. Flora was the daughter of Steven Stevens.
xi. Jane R. Hall was born in Carter County, KY ABT 1864.
xii. Laura Bell Hall was born in Boyd County, KY ABT 1866.
xiii. John Hall was born in Boyd County, KY ABT 1869. He married Annie Moyer in Carter County, KY, 10/20/1888.

Isaac Hall was born in VA ABT 1820.

He married Lucy.

Isaac Hall and Lucy had the following children:

vi. Rebecca Hall was born in Carter County, KY ABT 1849.
vii. Elijah T. Hall was born in Carter County, KY on 5/13/1857 He died 11/12/1939. He married 3 times. First to Elizabeth
Powell, Next to Idaho (Ida)Leadingham and then to Mary (Mollie) Crawford.

William Hall was born in VA ABT 1818.

He married Cynthia Ann Norton. Cynthia was born KY 1823.

William Hall and Cynthia Ann Norton had the following children:

iii. Pleasant Hall was born in Carter County, KY 1847.
iv. John Hall was born in Carter County, KY 12/1851. John died 9/0/1852 in Carter County, KY, at 1 year of age.
v. Lewis C. Hall was born in Carter County, KY 11/20/1853. Lewis died 10/13/1854 in Star Furnace, Carter County,
KY, at less than one year of age.
vi. Sarah Ann Hall was born in Williams Creek, Carter County, KY 7/26/1855.
vii. William H. Hall was born in Williams Creek, Carter County, KY 3/4/1857.
viii. Andrew J. Hall was born in Carter County, KY 1/12/1858. Andrew died 6/1859 in Carter County, KY, at 1 year of
age.
