I realize that this is a LONG shot since your post was so long ago but thought I would try.

I am interested in Rueben Wilburn who married Celia James (1828-1860). Do you happen to know any more about them? I think that Rueben died before 1860 from Typhoid Fever. I am interested in learning what happened to Celia and her children. Do you happen to know if she went on to marry a man with the last name of PHIPPS? Or possibly they did not marry but had children together?

I have been searching for many years trying to determine who the PARENTS of my paternal grandmother were. My grandmother's name was Malinda Jane Phipps (1869-1914). She married a Ulysis Byron Campbell and they lived in Knox County KY. The only thing I have to go on is Malinda Jane's death certificate which states that her parents were a TOL/TAL Phipps and a Celia Wilburn.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!
