Alice,
I finally found the DeEverett on my topo maps. On my maps it was listed as Deevert. DeEvertt sits at GPS location N 38 23.0838 X W 83 2.4987. The Everman Creek is nearby and empties into the Tygart about 1100 feet away. Going north follwing the Tygart you will find Iron Hill at GPS location N 38 24.3863 X W 83 2.2809. The road north from Everman Creek along the Tygart is the Iron Hill & Barrett Creek Road. From DeEvertt it is approximatley 1.9 miles to Iron Hill. The Iron Hill and Barrett Creek Road begins at Rte 1497 and follows the Everman Creek Branch all the way to Tygart Creek and then turns north and ends at Route 7 at Iron Hill. Along that road, I can't find any cemeteries, until I get up near Iron Hill. There is one cemetery located at Iron Hill, which goes by the name of Iron Hill Cemetery, but as you probably know, many cemeteries are known by different names. Near Iron Hill there are other cemeteries, Bentley, Burnett, Huffman, and the Davis. There is a possibilty that the Forrest Cemetery was a very small cemetery, and maybe overgrown and was not picked up by the satilite photos which were taken for the GPS coordinates. My listing shows that Iron Hill has 42 graves, Huffman, 67, Bentley 71, Burnett, 6 and Davis 14. Some very small and still show up on the topo maps. If you want I can print yhou out a map of this area and send it to youu via e-mail attachment. Let me know, I can be contacted at dlmeenach@aol.com.
