I am very many years beyond this original discussion about Haley Henderson. However, I believe she is Mahala Jane Henderson of Carter County, Kentucky. She is my paternal great grandmother. She died in Woodbridge,Virginia and at the time was Mahala Dugan, wife of Michael Dugan. Until I read these messages, I was not aware that she had been married at least twice before marrying Mike Dugan. However, our family has been curious about the parentage of our grandfather, John B. Dugan. I believe that he is listed as Johnny Stapleton (8 years old) in the 1920 West Virginia Census; along with other family members Tom and Hala Stapleton and 18 year old son, William Stapleton and then as Johnnie Dugan in the 1930 WVA census. Any information about Mahala Henderson and her marriages would be helpful.

Also, I can not determine what happened to her parents, Uriah David and Mary Eulett Stone Henderson.
