Ha, it's been 13 years since your post...

I see you listed Nave as a surname in your post. I'm researching Nave/Gunther of Davidson Co/Robertson Co. TN ca 1880 and prior. Alfred Richard Nave and wife Nancy Gunther in Robertson Co. TN 1880 Census, then appear north, in Bainbridge, Christian County KY with children 1900.

Frank Cantrell and Nida M. Cantrell (believe her to possibly be Mary Nave dau. of A. Richard and Nancy Gunther) in 1900 Bainbridge, Christian County, KY, neighbors to A. Richard/Nancy Nave.

A 'Macedonia School' photo, 1910, posted by another Ancestry member lists children also in vicinity in 1900 Census: "November 23, 1910 Front Row left to right: Roy Campbell, Aubrey Keller. Second Row left to right: Euna Keller, Ernestine Beshear, Kathleen Newsom, Opal Fuller, Fannie Beshear, Annie Thomas, Owen Keller, Ferris Fuller, Rob Hensley, Henry Carver, Elza Capps, Burnice Grant, and Vinnie Keller. Third row left to right: Herman P'Pool, Ellis Cline, Leslie Grant, Elmer Powell, Ada Carver, Ruth Franklin, Otho Keller, Omer Capps, Mae Cline, Hershel Capps, Mae Jenkins, Sophia Cansler Back Row left to right: Turner Cline, Edgar Capps, Ethel Powell, Tom Franklin, Lula Lantrip, Nonie Adams (teacher), Fannie Morris, Bennie Cantrell, Eva Thomas, Everett Capps, Noda Cline and Enos Powell."

Let me know if any of this is relevant to your Douglas/Knight, or what connection you might have to Nave family?
