I only have a birth year for John TATE, 1837 in Schuylkill Co., PA. His parents moved to KY early on in his life and they both died in 1851 either in Union or CHRISTIAN cO., KY. John was a well know coal miner so his bio reads, opening mines in Battery Rock, Il, CHRISTIAN Co, Union Co., Henderson, Hopkins KY and some in Missouri. He was first married to an Elizabeth Walker from Morganfield, Ky in 1856 and she gave him 8 children, she died and he married a Sarah Ellen WALTON, from CHRISTIAN cO, Ky in 1871. Do not have her parents names. John buried Elizabeth and several of their children, along with Sarah and several of their children at Ark Lodge Cemetery, Caseyville, KY. Have been there several times and found all of their stones but cannot find one for him.
