AKIN, Phineas Webbin born May 18, 1808 married Virginia CAREY. born ~1815-16, daughter of Edward CARY and Nancy BOWMAN. It is thought that this family left Cumberland County after the death of her father. The only record found of children of this couple is Columbus W. AKIN, born ~1841, thought to be their son. He married Martha WILLIAMS, born ~1841 and they had James S. or F. AKIN, born August 18, 1859 and died September 1859.
