I am requesting assistance from anyone who may live in the Stanley, KY area. I am researching my paternal great grandfather John HEPPLER, the second husband of Eliza Ann HOHIMER BROOKS HEPPLER COSSLER. According to a Daviess County Cemetery Book, there is a John HEPPLER (9/6/1859- 7/8/1885) buried in the Stanley Cemetery, located on the south side of US Hwy 60 on Hwy 1554 on the right side of the road. Additional HEPPLERAEs buried there are Conrad HEPPLER (1830-1875), his wife Bathsheba (1829-1877) and grandson James Paul, son of Leonard (1951-1956). I have found that Conrad, who is from Germany, and Bathsheba had at least two sons Leonard and Chas. I would like to know if this is my great grandfather and if Conrad and Bathsheba are JohnAEs parents. There is also a Penilia COSSLER buried at Stanley Cemetary with her newborn daughter Effie (she must have died in childbirth). I believe she was the sister of either Eliza Ann or John and I would like verification of this.
