Re: Singleton P. Walters or Waters

I often find families first in Madison County, Kentucky and later in Estill County, Kentucky.
If nothing else, I have confirmed the birth and death dates of Singleton P. Walters and his wife Minverva J. (Kirkendall) Walters, daughter of Samuel Kirkendall; & 2nd. wife Anne.

In closing, I respect your research and hope the posted reply helps you and others researching the Waters or Walters family.

Based on the following records (marriage, census, place of birth, & burial)
my conclusion on the Waters or Walters family:
Sampton Waters or Walters m. Nancy Prater. Marriage year, 1814
1.) Singleton P. Walters - b. Nov. 3, 1816 d. 9 Feb. 19, 1885, 1 son/1820 Madison Co. census
2.) Daughter - Based on 1820 Madison County, Kentucky census
3.) Daughter - Based on 1820 Madison County, Kentucky census
4.) Daughter - Based on 1820 Madison County, Kentucky census
5.) Elizabeth Walters - b. 1828, based on 1850 Estill Co., KY census
6.) Simon Walters - b. 1829, based on 1850 Estill Co., KY census
7.) Samuel T. Walters - b. Nov. 19, 1830 d. 11 Sept. 11, 1874
8.) Josephine Walters - b. 1833, based on 1850 Estill Co., KY census

Question: SAMUEL T. WALTERS ( b. 9 Nov. 1830 d. 11 Sept. 1874) is buried in the same cemetery area Lot #85 as MARY J. McCLINTOCK (b. Jan. 30, 1827 d. June 20, 1908) who is the SISTER of the second wife of Singleton P. Walters. And Lot #85 is also where Singleton P. Walters and his two wives are buried. Based on the burying ways of families,
Samuel T. Walters is probably close kin to Singleton P. Walters, and they seem to be brothers.
