MRS. KING CLARK BURIED WEDNESDAY
Mrs. O.K. Clark, 65, died Tues 23 Feb [1943] after an illness of several years caused by a stroke of paralysis. Her death was hastened by a fall last week in which she suffered a broken hip. Ida A. Buchanon, daughter of Elizabeth and Berry Buchanon, was born 23 Feb 1878. Died 23 Feb 1943 making her 65 years of age. She was married to O.K. Clark 25 Jan 1903. To this union were born 4 children, 2 dying in infancy. Surviving are: Lucius R. Clark, Of Lamville, Ill, Helen C. Kessler and a step-son, Rollin Clark, of Greensburg. Besides her husband and children she leaves 4 brothers: Hansel, Bill, Lynn and Bob Buchanon; 2 sisters, Mrs. A.J. Squires, of Fate, Tx, and Mrs. Cecil Montgomery of Louisville; 3 grandchildren Jean Clark, and a host of friend and relatives to mourn her passing. She was converted early in life, a member of the Greensburg Methodist Church, and lived a devoted christian life until death. Funeral services were held at Mt. Lebanon Church at 10:30 am Wed. Burial was in the W. ? Curry Cem. the Rev. J.W. Rayburn was in charge of the last rites, with the following ministers in attendance: Rev. O.J. Polly, Rev. Fountain Sanders and Rev. T.? Curry of Campbellsville; Rev. M.? Melton of Pierce, and Rev. L.? Stanger, of Greensburg. The pallbearers were : N.D. Blakeman, Cody Blakeman, Willie Jones. H-----Kesler, Shreve Keltner and --- Blakeman.
