I am seeking info on Chaney Cemetery. The cemetery is located on the banks of Big Pitman Creek about five miles NE of Summersville and two miles SW of Bengal in Taylor Co.
My gggg-grandfather settled in Green Co. as early as 1807 and raised a large family, at least eight boys and one girl. He died in 1847 and was presumably buried in Green Co.
Would appreciate any info regarding this cemetery. Any suggestions as to where I might find an "inventory" of the cemetery would be greatly appreciated.
