Willya Rattliff Cox, 68, of Greensburg, Ky., died on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2004, at Hospice Care Center in Louisville, Ky.
Daughter of the late James W. and Estelle Dobson Rattliff, she was born on Friday, Jan. 3, 1936, in Taylor County, Ky. She attended Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. "Bobby" Cox, on Aug. 23, 1996. They had married on Dec. 24, 1955. She is survived by one son, two daughters and a son-in-law, Steve Cox, Sherree Milby and Debbie and Steve Thompson, all of Greensburg; three brothers, Herman Rattliff of Campbellsville, J.W. Rattliff of Greensburg and Vernon Rattliff of Lexington, Ky.; one sister, Doris Rodgers of Campbellsville; seven grandchildren, Kevin Thompson, Robin Thompson Hansen and her husband, Rich, all of Cambridge, Mass., Shae Simpson and her husband, Josh, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Brandi Cox, Mindy Cox, Shawn Milby and Alex Thompson, all of Greensburg; and one great-grandchild, Sydni Grace Montgomery of Indianapolis, Ind. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley Rattliff and Ronnie Rattliff. Funeral is Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. in the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home. Burial is in Ebenezer Cemetery. The Rev. Dwight Forderhase will officiate. Pallbearers are Brian Rattliff, John Rattliff, William Lewis Rattliff, James Ralph Rattliff, Matt Rattliff, Jason Rattliff, Mark Rodgers and Randy Rodgers. Honorary pallbearers are Phillip Mitchell, Mike Mitchell, Derek Cox, Jimmy Cox, Ricky Cox, David Cox, DeWayne Cox and Bill Smith.
