Thomas Bass
son of Peter and Ann Bass
was born Aug. 9, 1790
married Nancy Compton daughter of Richard and Elizabeth Compton
on April 26, 1813 in Green County KY.,
and Died in 1840 Washington Co. MO--{Bass, Thomas, int. Admrs. Nancy Bass and William Bass. 4 Aug. 1840. Sec, John Compton & Gilbert Shore. (BondA--)}

Thomas, Norrell and Rebecca Bass (Bailes/Penick) are mentioned in Josiah Bass' will as being heirs of a decease Peter. They are also mentioned in a suit made by Jane Holcum Fryer Bass the widow of Peter who married Peter in 1821. Peter died in 1824.

Thomas and Nancy (1796-1873) had Elizabeth (1814-c1833).

son Thomas' biography states that Thomas and Nancy journeyed from Green County to Washington County in 1825.
They settled eventually on a piece of land in the community of Ebo about 11 miles outside of Potosi. Part of the property was were my Great Great Grandfather James lived after he returned from California in 1870's and where my great Grandfather, grandfather were born and where my father spent the first two years of his life. The property was in the family until the 1970's or 80's.
