Ruth Gilliam, 59

Ruth Ellen Gilliam, 59, of Ray, Ohio, a former resident of South Shore, Ky., passed away, Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at the Chillicothe Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was born in South Shore, Ky., Jan. 15, 1953, a daughter of the late, Willie Gilliam and Kathern Johnson Gilliam.

Surviving are seven brothers, Charles, Russell, Ben, James W., Donald, Mike and Curt Gilliam, all of South Shore, Ky. and four sisters, Laura Royster, South Shore, Ky., Louise Fraley of New Boston, Ohio, Barbara Wolfe of Grayson, Ky. and Doris Madden of Ray, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her caregiver and sister in law Margaret Gilliam, one brother Marion Gilliam, and one sister, Diane Gilliam.

Funeral services 11 a.m. Monday at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Ky., with Elder Gary Burton, officiating. Burial in the Gilliam Cemetery, South Shore, Ky.

Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour on Monday.
