Earl E. Sark, Sr., age 80 of Grove City, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Mt. Carmel West Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.
He was born on December 12, 1932 in Greenup County, KY to the late Luther and Nellie (Oliver) Sark.
Earl retired after 40 years for White Castle restaurant as a supervisor.
A graduate of Wurtland High School, he was a avid golfer, enjoyed playing cards, as well as hunting and fishing. Preceded in death by parents, sister Betty Lemoncelli and brother Charles.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Ruth E. (Caplinger) Sark; son, Earl E. (Sue) Sark of Lancaster, Ohio; sisters, Barbara (Richard) Huneck of Grove City, Ohio and Helen (Mike) Kosonovich of Orient, Ohio; brother-in-law, Edmund Lemoncelli; stepson, Tom (Jenni) Payne of Ashville; grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Sark of Carroll, Adam Sark of Lancaster, Ohio, Brad Payne of Grove City, Ohio, and Alli Payne of Ashville; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at the OLIVER-CHEEK FUNERAL HOME, 420 W. Main St. Ashville, Ohio with Pastor Kevin Pees officiating.
Burial will follow in Browns Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg, Ohio.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday.
