Thompson Dever and Elizabeth Atherton had a son that settled in Hardin County near the Grayson County line I think just after the Civil War. Everyone called him W A, I think his name was William. W A is a good part of the local history of the area, he was born in LaRue County. There is a self published limited print book about Dever's Hollow, you may find it in the Hardin County public library or ATHS at the intersection of Hiway 62 and 31W. The only thing specific that I remember about Thompson from local lore is that he had a table built by Thomas Lincoln, one of Thompson's grandsons sold it to the Speed Museum in Louisville during the depression.
