Bunyan Jaggers, 55, Dies of Mule Kick
Bunyan Jaggers, 55 years of age, whose home was near Sonora, died in a hospital in Louisville Thursday night, April 16, from the effects of a mule kicking him in the chest.
Mr. Jaggers was hauling fertilizer for his farm, near Acres Valley, which is a little more than ten miles from Sonora, and was on foot at the time of the accident. One of the team kicked him in the chest and he fell senseless in the road. The team went on, a motorist passing at the time stopped and picked Mr. Jaggers up. Later he was taken to Louisville, by the same person. But he died at 11 p.m. Thursday night.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Mrs. Clara Jaggers and one son, Bailey Jaggers.
