Lauri Hakko, 66, died at 3:20 pm yesterday at his home, 10229 Dodge Lane. Hakko, a 30-year Army veteran who retired as a sergeant, later worked 17 years as a watchman before retiring from the Henry Vogt Co.
He was a member of Camp Knox Masonic Lodge 919, Radcliffe, Ky., and of Louisville's Kosair Shrine Temple.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Clara Hornback Hakko; five stepsons, Alvin Davis, Merced, CA., Robert Davis, William Davis, Elmer Hornback and Frank Hornback; two step daughters, Mrs. Nina Floyd and Mrs. Elizabeth Ransey; 22 grandchildren and five great- granchildren.
The funeral will be at 10:30am Wednesday at Arch L. Heady & Son Southern Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
