ED WEBB,60, husband of Lena Houk of Jessamine Station Road in Wilmore, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, after a brief illness.
He was a member of the Mount Freedom Baptist church and an employee of Adcom Wire. He was born in Madison County, the son of Glyndon and Elizabeth Warner Webb.
In addition to his wife, he is survived be two children, Kim Gibson, and her husband, Billy of Wilmore, and Charlie Webb of Wilmore; four grandchildren, Nathan and Gregory Gibson, Rachel and Will Webb; Four sisters, Jean Floyd, Anna Catherine Elliott, Myrtle Cowen and Betty Brookshire; five brothers, Bobby, Homer, Glyndon Jr., James and Paul Warner, and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Betts and West Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Martin officiating and burial following in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Bearers were John and Calvin Houk, Jimmy and Timmy Sadler, Steve Riley and Brad Hornsby.
Contributions may be made to the Jessamine County Hospice.
