I had been looiking for a Minethro Utley who died in Dallas , Tx. in 1923. In obit they said he was born at Lexington,Ky. but joined the Union Forces in Ill. I found him on the 1850 census in ST. Clair CO. Ill. with his father Preston Utley, who was also born in Ky (age 43 in 1850) Other sons were Thomas, Joseph , George and James. This is not my family but an auxlery line much removed. We have a picture of "Buck " Utley taken in Indian Terr. that we knew nothing about and just trying to find a connection.. So if this is anybody's line have a small amt. of info that I garnished in the search. WLynch

My great-grandmother was Amanda Barnes. She had a sister Rhoda and a brother James and George. Their father was Noah Wilson Barnes and mother Rhoda Williams Barnes. Amanda married a Charles A Marshall in Clark Co. around 1880. I have limited informationn on the Barnes family but I do a reliable source for you. Contact me privately if this is the same family at okeanaman@yahoo.com. I am researching the Marshall Family and would be able to add the entire Mrshall Family that I have to your research. Should this be the same Barnes

Thought I would post...browsing for McCunes and found your posting. I am a descendant of John Dougherty and Elizabeth Miles through son Joseph and daughter Eliza.
Curious if you found or have any information regarding Mary/Martha McCune, wife of William M. Dougherty. I am attempting to locate information regarding Mary/Martha and siblings John, Joseph, and George McCune.
Willing to exchange Dougherty, Crow, McCune information I have.

I believe that we are doublely connected. Martha was Sister to James McCune who came to Howard Mo to be with the rest of his family. I have his marriage record somewhere. I have lost 2 messages trying to post to you. I have the family history written by family members and am in the process of trying to add my direct line to it. I did not bring this with me to the library.
Martha & William Dougherty married in Jessamine Ky. They moved with James McCune who I have traced a little. There is a lot of missing history for several family members.
I am in Salinas Ca @ 1590 Mesquite Drive #208
Salinas, Ca 93905
I would love to exchange information with you. Yvonne

I would really appreciate it if you could check for the surname Wamsley/Womsley/Walmsley. The parents of Thomas E. Wamsley should be buried some where in Jessamine County. I do not know their names, but I do know you won't find many Wamsleys there, probably on 2. Thank you.
