Richard, I'm afriad I do not have the records for the Camp Nelson National Cemetary. The volumes that I have are for all the other ones in Jessamine Co. Camp Nelson is in Jessamine Co though. As for the Bruner/Rohrer line, there is a quite a history of both families as early settlers in Jessamine Co. My group came from Switzerland,to Lancaster, Pa, then on to Jessamine Co. I had not heard the name Benner mentioned before in lrelation to the Bruner's but that just might be another source for me. I am at a stone wall at the present and seem to have no place else to go.Let me know if you would like to pursue this.

Dear Shelia, Do you have anything on the Union burials from the Battle of Perryville in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery? (My Rand McNally appears to place Camp Nelson in Jessamine Co.) My great uncle, John Brubaker was killed at Perryville and the possibility exists that he was relocated from a temporary burial at the battle site to Camp Nelson. He was with the 75th Ill Vol Inf.

Also, your BRUNER/ROHRER surnames have piqued my interest. BRUNER seems to have been an alternate spelling for BENNER which is my main research line. The BENNER family was initially located in Strasburg, Lancaster Co., PA. From letters, etc., I have noted the ROHRER families of Strasburg mentioned. Do wee have a connection here?

Just want to remind everyone that I have the 2 volumes of cemetary records for family cemetaries and public cemetaries in Jessamine County. I also have the "History of Jessamine Co." which is a very helpful book for information relating to particular families in Jessamine County. I will be happy to do look-ups for you.
Shelia
you.

Shelia,
At your convenience, please check your JESSAMINE COUNTY cemetary records for me. I can't recall the name of the cemetary, but it is located just as you come into Nicholasville from the ferry crossing. It was a rather large cemetary. I'm looking for

George Wilson BARNES (may just read as Wilson BARNES)
Roda BARNES

I've been told that is where they're buried... Thanks!! LouAnn

Lou Ann, I found only Mrs. George Barnes, died 21 July 1910, but did not find Wilson Barnes or Roda Barnes. Mrs. George Barnes is died in Sulpher Well but burial site is unknown. There is no birthdate either for her. Wish I had more for you.
Shelia
you.

Lou Ann,

Sulphur Well is about 2-3 miles SSE of Nicholasville on KY 39. I have a US Geological Survey map that covers the southern part of Jessamine County as well as a Jessamine Co Road Map provided by the Chamber of Commerce.

Hi Sheila,

Thanks for offering to do cemetery look-ups. Do you have anything on my gggg grandparents Benjamin Bradshaw and his wife Hope Poor Bradshaw? They died in the 1830's and lived in Jessamine Co. for probably close to 50 years. I don't have any dates for their death, only the last census Benjamin appeared on--1830--so if you run across any information that would help, please let me know. Thanks.

If you don't mind checking again for me I would appreciate it. Apparently, Roda BARNES and Wilson BARNES were burried in the HILLCREST Cemetary. I believe that maybe his name might have been James Wilson BARNES. Any information on dates of date would be appreciated. Also, do you have an address? I looked in the yellow pages and couldn't find any listing. I want to find out what section they're burried in. Thanks again,

Lou Ann

thank you
